Albyns is an integrated residential design-and-build studio in Chelsea, creating contemporary classical homes across Chelsea, Kensington, Knightsbridge, Belgravia, Mayfair, The Boltons, Holland Park, Notting Hill and prime central London.
 

Many of our projects share a defining brief: preserve the traditional London facade and build a thoroughly modern home behind it. Whole-house rebuilds, multi-level basement excavation with swimming pools, gyms and cinemas, and the careful renovation of listed and period properties are the technically demanding work that defines us.
 

Our architectural team, interior designers, builders and project managers sit under one accountable roof, so clients are spared the work of co-ordinating separate firms. Every project is led by a single, director-level point of contact and an in-house team that owns design, craftsmanship, cost and programme in equal measure. Each room is designed to its own brief, with the same considered thinking applied to how a family will actually live in the home.
 

Two decades working with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and neighbouring authorities means we can advise early and honestly on planning permission, party wall matters and structural alterations. Long-standing relationships with London's finest joiners, stonemasons and metalworkers let us deliver bespoke finishes made for each home.
 

We are also engaged by buying agents, private offices, wealth managers and property lawyers for discreet pre-purchase feasibility advice - what is possible, what it will cost, and how long it will take.
